Workers for Future YOGA

Workers for Future YOGA

The first activity under Workers for Future was the collective yoga practice Workers for Future Yoga, originally created for my friends who, like me, worked in creative fields and struggled with the physical and mental effects of a fast-paced world — constant rush, overwhelming anxiety, and a culture of competition.

The aim was simple: to teach basic breathing techniques, the foundations of meditation, and gentle movement. To give people tools they could return to anytime, regardless of circumstances.

Over the past three years, dozens of people have taken part in our sessions, dedicating two hours every Sunday to pause — their bodies, their thoughts, their world.

We are now working on expanding Workers for Future to include weekday morning classes focused on mindful breathing and meditation, forming a city choir, and creating gatherings primarily for women — meetings where we can exchange experiences and support each other creatively in projects we’re developing or already running.

From the beginning, Workers for Future has been rooted in collective action, guided by the principle - Collaboration over competition.

If any of our activities resonate with you and you’d like to join, you are warmly invited to follow @workersforfutureyoga or write to us at we@workersforfuture.com
